FAQ
What is Token Kits?
One battle-tested pack that cuts agent token costs roughly in half. Lifetime access — $39 prelaunch for the first 100 users, then $79.
Buy: tokenkits.co/pricing
How do I get Token Kits?
- Purchase lifetime access on the pricing page
- Use the install steps shown after purchase (or the buyer install page)
- Pick your IDE and run the one-line install
What exactly is in the pack?
Always-on rules that enforce:
- One outcome per turn
- Context pack budgets by task size
- Hard stops on folder dumps, re-reads, and scope creep
- Cost flags (green / yellow / red)
- Dense reply shape (plan → edits → verify)
Homepage peeks show snippets. Buyers get the full file for every supported IDE.
Do I need an API key?
No. After you buy, the pack installs for your IDE without a separate Token Kits API key.
Which IDEs are supported?
Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cline, AGENTS.md (universal), Zed, and Aider.
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time payment for lifetime access. Updates to the pack are included — re-run the install with --force when you want the latest.
Is the pack free in the blog?
No. Blog guides explain the problem and point to purchase. The pack is lifetime access via pricing.
Can I install on more than one machine or IDE?
Yes. Re-run the installer with the right --ide flag in each project or editor you use. Same lifetime access.
How do I remove it?
Delete the file written for your IDE (see installation) and .cursor/tokenkits.json if present.
Where do I get support?
Email or DM via Matt Merrick on X. Include your purchase email and which IDE you’re installing for.
